The Business Analyst role is a remote position responsible for collecting, documenting, and maintaining requirements as defined by business stakeholders for all development efforts.

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical specifications for Agile software development life cycle projects.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Development teams, and QA specialists to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Maintain documentation in Confluence, ensuring up-to-date requirements, workflows, and system designs.
  • Work closely with development teams utilizing Bitbucket for version control and code repository management.

The Business Analyst provides testing support and assists with project delivery activities. They are accountable for coordinating across all technical resources throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless collaboration between business areas and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups as needed.
  • Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses to identify business opportunities and process improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective communication.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst working in Agile software development environments and proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket are required for this position.
