IT Project Manager Position

The IT project manager will be responsible for leading all stages and types of IT initiatives from proposal definition to project planning and implementation.

This role requires strong business analysis, application design, and project management skills to ensure effective definition and delivery of business applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deliver effective business applications that meet customer needs.
  2. Define and document complex business requirements and processes, ensuring seamless communication between technical and business staff.
  3. Lead design sessions and review sessions with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and business experts.
  4. Assess vendor proposals to identify the best solutions for the organization.
  5. Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  6. Direct the activities of on-site and off-site consultants to ensure successful project execution.
  7. Oversee application design throughout its life cycle, from initial concept to delivery.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in software development lifecycle methodologies, version control systems, and unit testing.
  • Experience working in an IT environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating effectively with development resources.
  • Strong attention to detail, leadership, management, mentoring, and communication skills to lead a development team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of complex business requirements, experience with project planning, and coordination within the development team.
  • Development and maintenance of project documentation using standard templates and guidelines.
  • Creation and delivery of reusable, portable, efficient, and timely code.
  • Monitoring and coordination of unit and integration testing.
