Job Summary:

A cloud security officer is required to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data in cloud-based systems. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing robust security architectures for cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud security architecture to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Deploy and configure security tools, controls, and technologies in cloud environments
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks and threats
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to effectively respond to security incidents
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track and analyze security events and activities
  • Manage user access and permissions in cloud platforms
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and frameworks

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and at least 2-3 years of experience working as a security engineer or architect. Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and their security features and services is required. Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and technologies is also essential.
