SAP Security Administrator Role

The SAP Security Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining the security of our SAP environment. This involves prioritizing and performing tasks aligned with our company's security policies and procedures.

As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for understanding, implementing, and maintaining the capabilities of our security solution. This ensures that our implemented solution conforms to all regulatory and internal controls.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of SAP security concepts, as well as excellent project management skills. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to enable them in their goals while keeping the company protected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a secure SAP environment by prioritizing and performing tasks aligned with company security policies and procedures.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for SAP security solutions, ensuring that implemented solutions conform to all regulatory and internal controls.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures, including change control, project management, and SOX controls.
  • Manage and optimize SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) functions.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in SAP security authorization concept and design, SAP user provisioning, segregation of duties concepts, sensitive access, and user administration using SAP GRC.
  • 2-4 years of experience in SAP Security Functional Design, focusing on Financials, Supply Chain, and Order to Cash.
  • 1-2 years of experience in designing security for custom Fiori applications, HANA, OData Services, and APIs.
  • Experience in at least 2 end-to-end lifecycle implementations in GRC.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor junior team members.
