The role of Programme Coordinator for Development Initiatives requires a highly skilled and dedicated individual to support the implementation of programmes in underprivileged communities. This position is ideal for someone with experience in fundraising, communication, and project management.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work on projects that aim to improve the lives of underprivileged children through education. As a Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating with donors, child sponsors, job applicants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective programme delivery.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Fundraising: Assist with proposal preparation, presentations, and documentation for donors; Organise fundraising events to support programme initiatives.
  • Communication: Coordinate with various stakeholders to maintain open communication channels and facilitate information exchange.
  • Task Execution: Perform other programme-related tasks as assigned by the management team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree, two years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and excellent English writing and speaking skills. Experience in writing donor proposals and grant requests is highly desirable. The ideal candidate must be committed to the objectives of the organisation and willing to work independently when needed.
