Instrumentation and Piping Drafter

In this Instrumentation and Piping Drafter role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining piping drawing templates and standards in accordance with industry best practices.
About the PositionAs an Instrumentation and Piping Drafter, you will collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure design accuracy through effective communication and coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret piping specifications, P&IDs, and other engineering documents by reviewing and analyzing complex technical information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement piping designs.
- Verify drawings for accuracy and completeness by conducting thorough reviews.
- A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in piping drafting/designing is required.
- A DAE degree and certification in drafting are necessary qualifications.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, 3D, etc.) is essential for this role.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word and Excel) is also required.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this position.
- Skill in creating 2D and 3D piping drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) is a must.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, API, etc.) is also required.
