Job Description

Our team seeks a skilled Senior Java Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience in a fully remote setting.

About the Role

  • Design and develop robust web-based applications using Java, focusing on scalability and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features, leveraging Spring Boot and other Spring frameworks.
  • Work with legacy systems, including GlassFish and WildFly, to ensure seamless integration and performance.
  • Write clean, well-documented code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Review code and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

  • Strong command of Java and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
  • Expertise in RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services, ensuring efficient data exchange and processing.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI, to streamline development and deployment processes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks, like Angular or React, for hybrid application development.
  • Familiarity with business analytics and data visualization tools for informed decision-making.
