Job Title:

A Financial Manager position is available for a highly motivated and skilled individual.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the company, including preparing, providing and interpreting financial information. This will involve monitoring and predicting cash flows, as well as analysing change and advising accordingly.

In addition, the Financial Manager will formulate strategic and long-term business plans, conduct reviews and evaluations to identify cost-reduction opportunities, and manage the company's financial accounting and reporting systems.

They will also be responsible for producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines, setting goals and objectives, and designing a framework for achieving these targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the preparation, provision and interpretation of financial information, including cash flow predictions and analysis of change.
  • Strategic Planning: Formulate and implement long-term business plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Cost Reduction: Identify and implement measures to reduce costs and improve efficiency within the company.
  • Reporting: Produce accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, support and coaching as needed.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a degree in a relevant field, such as accountancy, finance or business management. You will also need to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A proven track record of success in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, is essential. You will also need to be proficient in using finance software packages, such as PeachTree or QuickBooks.

Working Conditions

This role will require you to work primarily in an office environment, although some travel may be required. You will need to be able to balance multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, and work effectively in a team to achieve shared goals.

You will also need to be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality results are essential.
