Senior DevOps Automation Specialist

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our technology team.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our DevOps practices, ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations.
The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline our processes, enhance system reliability, and improve overall efficiency.
- Create and configure new development tools and infrastructure
- Understand stakeholder needs and communicate effectively with developers
- Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Analyze and test code written by others and provide feedback
- Ensure systems are secure and protected against cybersecurity threats
- Identify technical issues and develop software updates and fixes
- Collaborate with software developers and engineers to ensure development follows established processes and meets expectations
- Plan and manage projects to ensure timely completion and successful outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Proficient with Git and git workflows, GitHub Actions, Travis, Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS, GCP, Azure, Jira, SMTP, DNS, Telnet, SSH
- Familiarity with Ruby or Python programming languages
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience with software engineering and civil engineering
- Experience developing engineering applications for large corporations
This is a mid-senior level full-time position within the software development and IT services industries.
