We are seeking a highly motivated professional to develop new and innovative solutions as an Lead Design & Proposal Engineer.

A key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the design, development, and proposal of systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, meeting customer requirements, industry standards, and objectives.

Your primary focus will be on creating innovative design solutions, preparing technical proposals, and contributing to the growth and success of the organization. You will review all proposals for this region, ensuring proper and timely techno/commercial submission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing RFQs for technical and commercial requirements, proposing turn-key solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with business conduct policies and procedures, meeting OEM ethical and legal standards.
  • Executing international bids and proposals while minimizing risk, ensuring timely submissions in-line with client requirements.
  • Negotiating with vendors and OEMs, maintaining business relationships, and enhancing supply chains.
  • Developing Subject Matter Specialists (SMEs) within the team, managing resources, and introducing new initiatives for business growth.
  • Preparing prequalification, tender documentation, method statements, and bids, as well as compliances, system architecture/topology, and project schedules.
  • Designing systems, estimating costs, and optimizing solutions in-line with RFQ requirements.
  • Providing technical and commercial pre-sales support to exceed strategic targets, working effectively with international teams.
  • Improving sales team effectiveness, adding value by supporting international technical teams, and developing integrated systems and tools.
  • Aligning with internal stakeholders, ensuring task completion within agreed timelines, and strategizing during the pre-sales cycle to mitigate risks.

We seek candidates with a strong background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics engineering, with a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in design and proposals. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of PLC/RTU/DCS/ESD/F&G, electrical and instrumentation solutions, digitalization, SCADA systems, and solar systems. Excellent communication skills, good oral and written English, and knowledge of oil and gas industry standards are also essential.
