Technical Architect

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead the development of our e-commerce platform.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the technical architecture infrastructure, formulating content strategies, and setting up digital marketing suites.
  • This role will also involve conducting sprint planning, project planning, production maintenance, and performance tuning.
  • In addition, the Technical Architect will create industry-specific digital architectures with roles involving analysis design, development, administration, and integration of distributed applications.
  • Powersome features such as multisite and multichannel delivery personalization targeting content aggregation syndication, multilingual support, automated workflow management, social media, etc. will also be developed by this role.
  • The ideal candidate will set up bootstrapping for project review and recommend an approach for migration.
  • This Technical Architect will define and implement key technical constructs of the program.
  • They will interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications and solution architecture for content collaboration solutions.
  • Providing inputs and direction to senior developers and Architects in the team for design and implementation is also a crucial aspect of this role.
  • The Technical Architect will define implementation processes, quality gates, and standards for design and development.
  • Defining best practices to manage performance security and scalability of the digital platforms is also a vital responsibility of this position.
  • Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders across the global organization will be required.
  • The internal and vendor development teams will be coordinated and directed on regular development activities by this Technical Architect.
  • Review and provide feedback on the technical competency of resources for both internal and external onboarding is also needed.
  • This role requires direct involvement in technical details as and when needed for critical issues.
  • Technical leadership, architecture, oversight on implementation will be provided by this Technical Architect.
  • Assess, recommend, and document current and proposed changes to system and application processes pertaining to the Commerce platform.
  • Review, propose, document, and publish design, coding standards, and development processes to ensure high-quality application delivery.
  • Synthesize robust and cost-effective technical solutions against customer requirements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in e-commerce with expertise in solutioning and delivering B2B and B2C is necessary.
  • Mandatory 5 years of experience in Commercetools or similar API-based MACH architecture platforms.
  • Strong experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or any cloud infrastructure is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to manage senior-level client stakeholders are required.
  • Experience in working with and managing technical teams in multiple geographical locations is necessary.
