About the role

  • Our team is seeking an experienced professional to assist in localizing, implementing, maintaining, and updating compliance policies, procedures, and processes. This will involve supporting the rollout of a global compliance management system and key policies, ensuring alignment with laws, regulations, and business contexts.
  • The ideal candidate will oversee sanctions control processes and help set global standards to manage identified risks.
  • They will be responsible for training new and existing personnel on Sanctions Policies and other compliance policies.
  • This position requires the use of technology and software to screen sanctions lists, evaluate results, document findings, and make risk-based decisions.
  • The successful candidate will also assist in managing compliance responses to non-compliance, including investigations of misconduct.
  • They will help adapt the Compliance Program to local requirements, ensuring all obligations are well-defined, documented, and updated.
  • This role involves ensuring employee behaviors and compliance efforts align with global and local ethical and legal standards.
  • The candidate will identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks, develop corrective action plans, and provide guidance to prevent recurrence.
  • They will assess risk exposure by gathering relevant information, quantifying and qualifying risks, and maintaining the risk register.
  • The candidate will also monitor business trends, political, natural, and environmental factors impacting local entities, and record their potential impacts in the risk registers.

Your qualifications

  • ACCA qualified, CA part-qualified, BBA, MBA, or BSc Hons.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field.
