  • We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant. This is a key position that will be responsible for managing Oracle Project Accounting module, creating accounting entries, exceptions clearing, interfacing data to sub ledger and general ledger modules, ensuring smooth project monthly period close.
  • As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with Technical teams, QA teams, and Business Process Analysts/User in testing enhancements, projects, and bug fixes.
  • You will be responsible for creation of projects, tasks, lookup setups, maintenance of metadata, hierarchies in Project Accounting module.
  • Reconciliation of sub ledger modules to general ledger will also be part of your responsibilities.
  • You will integrate sources to Project Accounting module and costing, project billing, and project management, sub ledger modules, General Ledger, and third-party application sources.
  • Additionally, you will manage and perform/review US GAAP general accounting activities (including MJEs, reconciliations, and quarterly reporting schedules).
  • Monitoring, involving, following up, where required, in the month-end close process will also be your responsibility.
  • You will provide ad hoc reports to HQ, local controllership team, and other finance functions.
  • Preparing/reviewing quarterly reporting schedules (QRS) to support 10-Q/10-K filings will be another key task.
  • You will prepare quarterly balance sheet analysis, review, and remediation.
  • Providing recommendations on overall improvements in the general ledger system by researching and assessing standardized workflow procedures and policies will also be expected from you.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements/automations and leading them where required will be another responsibility.
  • You will support global teams along the GAOC on system-related enhancements/issues.
  • Supporting the team with issues encountered during the month-end close will be another duty.
  • You will support the controllership team in external annual audits by providing timely and appropriate financial/system data and supporting documentation in line with the GAAP requirements and accounting standards.
  • Ensuring that all processes and policies are compliant with Internal Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements will also be part of your role.
  • Updating and supporting the Manager in tasks as required will be another key responsibility.
  • Besides the main tasks and responsibilities listed above, you will be responsible for completing any other tasks assigned by your supervisor or manager.
  • Guiding the team to achieve goals will be another key responsibility.
  • Stakeholder Management will also be part of your role.
