**Job Title:** Financial Accounting Leader

Description

This role is responsible for performing the position of Entity Accounting Leader (EAL) for various subsidiaries. As EAL for a subsidiary, the team member will be accountable for overall data integrity of items such as the subsidiary's financial statements both for USGAAP close as well as per the Local GAAP requirements of the entity, account reconciliation, and other related duties.

  • Ensure the accuracy of the financial statements for the legal entity under their responsibility by defining accounting procedures in compliance with local accounting policies.
  • Perform account reconciliations of the accounts under their ownership and review and approve the account reconciliations performed by the members of their team.
  • Act as focal point for external financial and statutory filings necessary to meet internal auditing and governmental requirements.
  • Responsible for producing the Income Statement Forecast (ISF) at a legal entity level by coordinating the efforts of different processes and businesses required to meet the ISF requirements.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Ensuring the integrity of the financial statements for the legal entity under their responsibility.
  2. Performing account reconciliations of the accounts under their ownership.
  3. Acting as focal point for external financial and statutory filings necessary to meet internal auditing and governmental requirements.
  4. Producing the Income Statement Forecast (ISF) at a legal entity level.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) or semi Qualified CA certification.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience for a Qualified CA, or 5 to 7 years of experience for a semi qualified CA.
  • Strong technical accounting competency.
  • Excellent leadership and initiative competencies.
