
Financial Record Management Expert

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Record Management Expert to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The role involves working closely with the Controller to create and analyze financial reports, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments.
A strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounts receivable/payable principles is essential for this position. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP software and Excel is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and complete postings within GP.
- Post invoice batches in the sales module, ensuring correct deferrals in GP.
- Review AR aging reports.
- Process customer account credits, return memos, cash receipts, and apply them against invoices in GP.
- Coordinate and prepare customer invoices, reconciling monthly activities for accuracy.
- Manage all support related to customer invoices, including contracts and purchase orders.
- Assist in reconciling AR-related accounts and tax compliance.
- Assist in preparing internal financial statements for various reporting periods.
- Reconcile bank and accounts, perform variance analysis, and prepare journal entries.
- Process accounts payable, ensuring correct coding and posting.
- Identify intercompany discrepancies and prepare relevant journals.
- Generate reports from GP for various analyses.
- Assist in balance sheet reconciliations and revenue analysis.
- Support quarterly disclosure reporting.
- Maintain records in accordance with IFRS and timelines.
- Implement process improvements and undertake special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven bookkeeping and accounting experience.
- Understanding of bookkeeping and accounts receivable/payable principles.
- Ability to manage and post financial figures accurately.
- Strong data entry skills and numerical aptitude.
- Experience with spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Proficiency in English and MS Excel.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Finalist or part-qualified in ACCA, ICAP, or similar; or a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting.
