Comprehensive Patient Care Specialist

As a patient care specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families.

  • Contact patients via telephone prior to their scheduled appointment to confirm details and provide any necessary information.
  • Conduct thorough interviews with patients over the telephone to gather complete and accurate information, ensuring seamless registration and scheduling processes.
  • Enter all patient data into our electronic medical record system, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Re-schedule patient appointments as required, communicating effectively with patients through telephone calls and written notifications.
  • Screen and route patient calls to other departments efficiently, utilizing your skills in effective communication and problem-solving to ensure accurate registration, appointment scheduling, and follow-up appointment scheduling.
  • Coordinate messages between patients and physicians, handling consult calls and routing them to the correct provider when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, working collaboratively with fellow team members to achieve shared goals.
