Business Analyst Job Description

A strategic business analyst role is available at a leading software solutions provider.

  1. About the Role:

We seek an experienced Business Analyst to drive business strategy and growth. This role requires strong analytical and product management skills, including the ability to interpret needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

  • The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and be able to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, although additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with offshore teams and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Communication and Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with the business team from manager to CEO level to collect and understand business requirements.
  2. Liaison: Act as a liaison between offshore business teams and local development and QA teams.
  3. Design and Development: Design and develop use cases, high-level application and system architecture documents and diagrams, data flow diagrams, etc.
  4. System Requirements: Ensure that system requirements meet business needs and that the business can fully integrate and implement new systems and/or system features.
