Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales operations within a specific geographic area. This role is crucial for driving sales growth, enhancing market presence, and ensuring the overall success of our sales initiatives in the designated area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market penetration. This will involve generating sales of our products in the area through a team of Territory Sales Managers, preparing and presenting sales reports to senior management, monitoring expenses, and managing the sales budget effectively.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining an efficient distribution network, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, providing distributors and customers with information about new or improved products and services, and working closely with Trade Marketing, Sales Operations, and Sales Control functions to enhance sales effort.

The Area Sales Manager will also lead, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and goal achievement. This includes providing guidance to TSMs/DSFs on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, as well as training and developing TSMs and DSRs on sales operations, stakeholder management, and other sales-related soft skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of bachelor's or master's degree from any accredited local or foreign institute.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in FMCG sales.
