iOS Application Development Leadership Opportunity

This leadership role offers the chance to shape the future of our mobile applications. We are seeking a Senior iOS Mobile App Developer with experience in leading and building complex app features, shipping multiple iOS apps, and mentoring junior developers.

About the Position
  1. Develop and implement effective strategies for designing and building fully functional mobile applications.
  2. Collaborate with the Lead Mobile App Engineer to maintain and optimize the app architecture, libraries, and development lifecycle.
  3. Provide guidance and support to junior and mid-level developers to help them grow professionally.
  4. Ensure the successful implementation of the entire application lifecycle from concept to delivery.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Create and implement innovative solutions for developing advanced app features on the iOS platform.
  2. Craft technical solutions by applying solid object-oriented design principles.
  3. Work closely with product management and UX to turn ideas into reality.
  4. Identify and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
  5. Familiarize, support, and modernize our existing systems and their tech stack.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of the iOS SDK and best practice architectural patterns.
  • Knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages.
  • Ability to adhere to best practices in OO development and leave well-structured code.
  • Understanding of iOS's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Experience with writing code using unit/feature tests.
  • Able to work effectively in a highly collaborative, agile team environment.
  • Flexibility to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Experience in refactoring legacy code.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working with databases.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and use of tools to support the SDLC.
  • Able to work with quality assurance and data protection processes.
  • Good communication skills and ability to take direction.
  • Attention to detail for coding and design.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
