About this role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Software Engineer III. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial part in the design, development, and maintenance of our core applications. Your expertise in Go and Java will be instrumental in building robust and scalable systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Software Development: Develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications using Go and Java.
  2. Database Management: Design and implement efficient database solutions leveraging relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  3. Cloud Infrastructure: Work with cloud services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
  4. Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Effectively debug and resolve software issues, identify potential risks in projects, and participate in Root Cause Analysis sessions.
  5. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers, clearly communicating technical information.
  6. Process Improvement: Contribute to improving team processes and suggest improvements to development workflows.
  7. Testing & Instrumentation: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. 3-5 years of professional software development experience, with experience in Go and Java.
  3. Experience designing RESTful APIs.
  4. Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  5. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS).
  6. Understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  7. Experience with version control systems (Git).
  8. Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  10. Agile development methodologies experience a plus.
