Financial Operations Specialist

The Finance Assistant role involves managing various financial tasks and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Oversee monthly payroll, related activities, and client management for timely completion and accuracy.
- Data Maintenance: Update records in files and HRMS/HRS applications to ensure up-to-date information.
- Financial Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance Manager to guarantee smooth operation of all finance matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Transaction Processing: Assist the Finance Manager by processing sales and purchase ledgers from source documents, matching invoices to statements, and reconciling accounts.
- Accounting Data Input: Enter accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy, adhering to internal controls.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in producing financial statements, spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence as required.
- Journal Entries: Prepare, input, and validate journal entries as necessary.
- Internal Controls: Adhere to internal controls relevant to the finance function and carry out month-end control procedures.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in compiling budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and financial reports on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
- Statutory Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of statutory annual reports.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc financial information and analysis as required.
- Database Maintenance: Manage, maintain, and update relevant client databases.
- QuickBooks Records: Maintain accurate and complete records in QuickBooks.
- Financial Modeling: Use financial modeling to predict outcomes and inform business decisions.
- Liaison and Negotiation: Liaise with parties involved in transactions and assist with negotiations.
- Legal Documents: Prepare legal documents as required.
- Risk Assessment: Assess and predict financial risks and returns, informing strategic decisions.
- Bid Proposals: Contribute to competitive bid proposals.
- Income Submission: Monitor prompt and complete submission of income documents.
- Non-Compliance Reports: Prepare monthly reports on non-compliance.
- Process Monitoring: Ensure key processes are promptly completed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement on work processes.
- Team Management: Manage a team to execute checks and controls.
- Trend Analysis: Report and provide in-depth analysis of technical variances against standard.
