CCTV Surveillance Specialist

Operate and maintain surveillance equipment to monitor live and recorded video footage. Report incidents or suspicious behavior, and contact authorities when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and operate all surveillance security systems/cameras within the control centre efficiently and in compliance with operating procedures, legislation, and best practice.
  • Record all events, incidents, and actions taken in a clear, legible, and accurate written format.
  • Maintain a secure system for providing data according to regulations and ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times.
  • Report equipment failure to the security head or management.
  • Provide efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service and deal with enquiries efficiently.
  • Install, maintain, repair, and replace security cameras, computer networks, and other equipment used in video surveillance systems.
Job Specification:

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Private/commercial security experience/background is an advantage.
  • Ability to identify small, unnoticeable details that most people would ordinarily overlook.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • CCTV certification and computer experience are needed.
