Sales Representative Job
A Key Role in Driving Business Growth
- This position plays a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with existing customers, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Adjust the content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
- Foster sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Maintain management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and consistently meeting customer needs is essential.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of sales principles, market trends, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Possess a high level of self-motivation, discipline, and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain productivity.
- Familiarity with office software and phone systems is a plus.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in a similar industry.
Work Arrangement:
- Full-time, Part-time, Fresher, Regular / Permanent positions available.
- Part-time hours: up to 50 per week.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary range: ₹8,520.77 – ₹20,000.00 per month.
