Embedded System Quality Assurance Professional

Ensuring the reliability and quality of embedded products is paramount. We seek an experienced Embedded QA Engineer to play a key role in testing hardware and software integration, with expertise in embedded systems.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software and hardware development processes, as well as experience with test planning, execution, and defect tracking.

A successful Embedded QA Engineer will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure the high-quality delivery of features.

The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated test frameworks for embedded systems.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to identify defects and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand system requirements and provide feedback on testability.
  • Implement functional testing to deliver quality features and perform manual and automated testing.
  • Perform system integration and regression testing to ensure seamless functionality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the embedded systems industry.
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming languages and embedded systems architectures.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and test-driven development.
  • Proficiency in version control systems such as Git and collaboration tools like JIRA.
