Professor of Microbiology and Pathology

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced academic professional to join our team as a Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising clinical and academic activities, as well as patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Lectures and Teaching: Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical skills sessions according to the curriculum for MBBS/BDS students.
- Postgraduate Training: Support FCPS and DCPS trainees with clinical presentations, small group discussions, and case-based teaching.
- Research and Development: Contribute to research and development through collaboration with faculty members and Postgraduate trainees.
- Patient Care: Coordinate new patients referred for specialist advice, conduct regular OPD sessions, and provide emergency treatment.
- Examinations and Assessments: Assist the Head of Department in conducting examinations of MBBS/BDS students and assessments of Postgraduate trainees.
- Clinical Rounds: Ensure regular clinical rounds of the ward to manage/supervise the progress and care of indoor patients.
- Medical Procedures: Participate in medical procedures under the supervision of senior consultants and develop a proper monitoring mechanism.
- Specialist Advice: Offer specialist advice on medical problems of patients referred from other departments.
- Staff Management: Lead, supervise, and train PGs, MOs, HOs, and other paramedical staff to ensure delivery of quality health services.
- Duty Rota and Staff Placement: Prepare and monitor the duty rota of the department and resolve staff management and placement issues.
- Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and hospital administration.
- Leadership Qualities: Demonstrate strong leadership qualities to manage and supervise clinical and academic activities.
