Financial Transaction Specialist

Managing the end-to-end accounts payable process involves timely and accurate recording of supplier invoices and credit notes in an enterprise resource planning system. This includes invoice processing, purchase order matching, vendor reconciliations, and payment runs.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, 2-4 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment and hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts payable cycle to ensure timely and accurate entry of supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Respond to vendor queries and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor open items, general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders and goods receipts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and external audit requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement, treasury and other finance teams to streamline accounts payable processes.
- Prepare periodic accounts payable reports, key performance indicators and dashboards for management.
