Job Title: Financial Strategist

Summary:

The Financial Strategist plays a critical role in driving business growth and profitability by developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's vision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop comprehensive financial strategies, annual budgets, and forecasts that support business objectives.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and performance reporting, including variance analysis and key performance indicators, to inform business decisions.
  • Business Reviews: Present monthly business reviews to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop complex financial models to support business cases for new initiatives, capital investments, and strategic projects.
  • Revenue and Cost Management: Monitor and analyse revenue streams, cost drivers, and profit margins across different service lines to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Cost Optimization and Revenue Growth: Identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement through data-driven analysis and implement recommendations.
  • Pricing and Contract Negotiations: Support pricing decisions and contract negotiations with financial modeling and profitability analysis.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across functions to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Process Improvements: Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the Finance function to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced level in MS Office.
  • Additional Advantages: Working knowledge in SAP, BI tools would have a distinct advantage.
