Piping Systems Designer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented piping systems designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software, and excellent communication skills.

Job Description:
  • Create detailed piping layout drawings, isometric drawings, and pipe support drawings using AutoCAD, CADWorx, Plant 3D, or similar software.
  • Develop and update P&IDs, plot plans, general arrangements (GAs), and fabrication drawings.
  • Work closely with mechanical, civil, electrical, and process teams to ensure alignment and clash-free design.
  • Analyze engineering specifications, piping material specifications (PMS), and vendor drawings.

The candidate will participate in design reviews, model walk-throughs, and site surveys as required. They must maintain compliance with relevant industry codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in piping design and drafting, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, etc.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, CADWorx, PDMS, SP3D, or other 2D/3D modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with ASME B31.1/B31.3, ISO, ANSI, and other piping codes.
