About the Role

This is a key leadership position that will drive dLocal's strategy and partnerships in Pakistan to enable local payments processing for international merchants.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish strategic partnerships with potential partners, acquirers, and banks to expand dLocal's reach.
  • Negotiate and execute commercial agreements to drive growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop operations/product/technology roadmaps and integrate partnerships.
  • Analyze performance results and optimize processes accordingly.
  • Improve operational capabilities for different payment methods.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulatory/licensing requirements and engage with regulators as necessary.
Requirements
  • A self-motivated professional with experience in payments or financial systems in Pakistan.
  • Proven success in partnering and working cross-functionally to achieve business goals.
  • Sigificant experience negotiating and executing contracts/agreements.
  • An established network of contacts within the industry.
  • A willingness to take calculated risks based on solid strategy and deep partnership understanding.
  • A team player able to lead projects/participate effectively as a team member/cross-functionally with other organizations.
  • A curious profile and positive attitude.
  • Thorough knowledge of the market.
  • Technical knowledge a plus.
  • Commitment to compliance and understanding of the regulatory environment in Pakistan.
