Key Responsibilities of an Audit Assistant

The primary objective of this role is to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions. This involves examining documents, records, and other data to ensure that they are in compliance with established policies and procedures.

The key tasks include:

  • Verifying inventory dispatches to outlets from warehouses.
  • Ensuring that inventory received matches production sheets.
  • Conducting daily sales checks with cash and bank statements.
  • Verifying inventory transfers between outlets.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to perform any other tasks assigned by their manager.

  • To lead and manage a team of auditors in the field on large assignments.
  • To provide or attend briefings that clearly outline all assignments.
  • To ensure the completion of audits/projects within agreed timescales.
