Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead our contract manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing efficient scheduling, material planning, and team communication.

This role is ideal for a professional with strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience working in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environments.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement production schedules that optimize production flow and meet timely delivery targets.
  • To oversee material requirement planning, ensuring availability of raw and packaging materials for a 6-month production schedule.
  • To lead Supply Review Meetings and Order Fulfillment Meetings with CMO site teams to ensure transparent communication regarding material availability and production status.
  • To manage material rejections, vendor damages, and write-offs, providing regular reports to Finance and implementing corrective actions to minimize losses.
  • To direct all planning-related aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions and timely product launches.
  • To report critical supply chain issues and escalate unresolved problems to management promptly.
  • To balance supply and demand by optimizing inventory levels to ensure timely availability of finished goods as per demand.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement and manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with quality and employee health & safety (EHS) standards.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and influencing skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Supply Chain & Materials Management processes.
  • Spare time certifications like SCMP is an asset.
