Job Summary

The Academic Coordinator is a pivotal role that requires exceptional organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless academic operations on campus, fostering an environment of excellence and Madani Terbiyat among students.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Academic Excellence: Enhance the academic performance of students through effective planning, coordination, and monitoring of activities and events aligned with the Academic Calendar and Syllabus.
  2. Learning Resources: Ensure students have access to adequate learning resources and Montessori materials, promoting a conducive learning environment.
  3. Classroom Management: Monitor classroom management to guarantee teachers provide optimal instruction, adhering to established standards.
  4. Event Organization: Collaborate with the Principal to organize Dua-e-Madinah and other events in a meaningful way, enhancing student engagement and morale.
  5. Syllabus Planning: Assist the Principal in preparing and adjusting the timetable, analyzing the syllabus, and planning for all subjects.
  6. Teacher Support: Support teachers in planning and implementing subject-specific plans, guiding them on syllabus coverage, and creating weekly syllabus coverage forms.
  7. Quality Control: Review Daily Diaries to ensure implementation of plans, evaluating materials sent by Majlis, and providing timely feedback.
  8. Teaching and Learning: Observe teacher classroom teaching for an entire unit daily, suggesting ways to improve teaching styles and methodologies.
  9. Paper Submission: Facilitate teachers and the Principal in paper submission and timeliness, taking rounds of the school to ensure efficient working environments.
  10. Student Support: Teach students when necessary, especially during teacher absences, and assist in finalizing results.
  11. Staff Development: Provide guidance and training to teachers in consultation with the Principal and Majlis, supporting staff and the Principal in organizing Parent Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
  12. Recruitment: Recruit new and suitable teachers in coordination with the Principal and Majlis, motivating and encouraging staff and students to achieve better outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Proven experience in academic administration or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods and principles.
