We are seeking an experienced professional to excel in a challenging role that involves system development work around data extraction, transformation, and loading. This opportunity will allow you to showcase your technical expertise and contribute to the success of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering, with experience in developing new functions and facilities, as well as providing ongoing support for live systems. They will be responsible for translating instructions into code, determining the optimal approach for extracting data from diverse systems, and preparing data processes according to business requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Determining the optimal approach for extracting data from diverse systems and moving it to Business Intelligence (BI).
  • Preparing ETL processes according to business requirements.
  • Creating functional and/or technical design solutions and documenting those requirements.
  • Diagnosing ETL and database-related issues, performing root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Performing tests and validating data flow.
  • Managing current and future data design and content needs.
  • Collaborating with project teams to support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of new ETL programs.

The successful candidate will possess excellent knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies, as well as cloud technologies and supporting batch processes. They will also be skilled in creating generic scripts to optimize programs and reduce redundancy.
