Financial Operations Manager

The role of Financial Operations Manager is a key position within our organization. As the primary point of contact for regional and head offices, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication and coordination across departments.
Main Responsibilities:
- To facilitate correspondence with head office, shipping lines, and customers through effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions in the day book to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Oversee the collection of payments, manage debtors, and resolve customer claims in a timely manner.
- Respond to inquiries from the head office and provide solutions to their queries.
- Act as the custodian of branch cash and official documents, ensuring their safekeeping and security.
- Monitor and maintain all financial records related to cash, taxes, IOUs, bank reconciliations, salaries, and deposits.
Key Qualifications:
This role requires a commerce graduate with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in finance or accounts departments, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding industry. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to excel in this position.
