Cloud Engineering Position

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about automation, cloud computing, and scalable architecture. You will work closely with experienced engineers to enhance deployment processes, security, and system reliability.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting infrastructure, security, and DevOps processes to support cloud competency and program development.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud-based solutions for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices, ensure compliance, and align with process guidelines.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams, architects, and developers to streamline build and release processes.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure cloud system stability and functionality.
  • Continuously monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance reliability and availability.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS preferred).
  • Basic understanding of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Interest in learning about CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Exposure to Git and collaborative version control workflows.
  • Curiosity and willingness to explore Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
  • Interest in Docker, Kubernetes, and related containerization technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices, with an opportunity to contribute to cloud competency and documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic cloud environment.
  • Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and contribute to initiatives.
  • At least one cloud certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or Developer) is preferred.
