Job Title: Goods Movement Specialist

About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Goods Movement Specialist in Faisalabad, Pakistan. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods onto trucks or other modes of transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading Operations: Operate forklifts or other loading equipment to load and unload goods onto trucks or other modes of transportation with precision and accuracy.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and verify that all goods are loaded securely and safely to prevent damage during transport.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Collaborate with truck drivers to coordinate loading plans and ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Regularly inspect and maintain loading equipment to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
  • Data Management: Accurately record the type, quantity, and condition of loaded goods, providing critical information for inventory management and quality control purposes.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a loader handler or similar role, with a proven track record of safety and efficiency.
  • Operational Skills: Proficient in operating forklifts or other loading equipment, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
  • Certifications and Training: Completion of relevant certifications or training programs, such as OSHA or Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment, including collaboration with truck drivers and warehouse staff.
  • Physical Demands: Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
