We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Event Operations Specialist. As part of our team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring smooth execution of events and activities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Logistics Management:
  • Assist the project manager with event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment setup.
  • Coordinate transportation and accommodation arrangements for staff and volunteers.
  • Ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available for events.
  1. Volunteer Management:
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers, ensuring they are prepared for their respective roles during events.
  • Allocate tasks among volunteers, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective use of resources.
  1. Communication:
  • Manage communication with participating schools, students, and volunteers, ensuring timely updates and information sharing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including schools, sponsors, and community partners.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in event management, business administration, or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in event planning and coordination.
  3. Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
