
Nursing Unit Supervisor

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will lead a group of nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care in assigned units. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to implement best practices in patient safety and quality care.
- Lead a team of nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care in assigned units.
- Implement International Patient Safety Goals and Infection Control practices in assigned units.
- Ensure effective use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) by nursing staff in assigned units.
- Evaluate patient care quality, gather feedback, and address concerns in assigned units.
- Complete pre-requisites for invasive and non-invasive procedures as per orders.
- Report medication-related incidents to Section Head and Clinicians promptly.
- Conduct internal checks on medications and supplies in assigned areas.
- Collaborate with Section Head and Nursing Education Services to design patient education materials.
- Participate in audits and implement corrective actions.
In this role, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services. Strong communication skills are essential, particularly in interacting with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
Qualifications and ExperienceTo be successful in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred) with 5-6 years of clinical experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)
- Possess valid Professional Nurses Council registration
- Hold BLS, ACLS, and ECG certifications (preferable)
- Excel in communication skills in Urdu and English languages
- Demonstrate professionalism in handling difficult situations with patients, physicians, or others
- Work efficiently under time constraints
- Multitask and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Work independently, exercise creativity, and maintain a positive attitude
