Job Title: Senior Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service, and repair of facilities' HVAC systems.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC system design, installation, and maintenance, as well as experience working with complex equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, including diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
  • Installation and Upgrade: Install and upgrade HVAC systems, including ductwork, vents, and other components.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Test and commission HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of secondary school required; formal HVAC Journeyman level instruction and training within last 8 years preferred.
  • Certifications: Valid EPA-approved CFC Universal certification for high and low-pressure refrigerants required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years mechanical experience with overseas HVAC; minimum 5 years journey-level experience in installation, operations, repair, and maintenance of commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical refrigeration systems.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
