The role involves performing radiological procedures as prescribed by clinicians, ensuring the maintenance of relevant equipment and reporting any faults or breakdowns. To achieve this, daily quality assurance activities are performed to maintain high standards.
Responsibilities- Performing diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a clinician.
- Maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
- Providing preparatory information to patients before and after radiological procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
This position requires a strong foundation in science, with a preferred qualification of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Radiography. At least two years of experience as a Radiographer or completion of a traineeship in Radiography from a reputable institution is also necessary.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role or successful completion of a one-year traineeship program in Radiography.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities are essential for this role.
- A good understanding of diagnostic procedures, patient positioning, and film developing techniques is required.
