• customer dealing: welcoming the patient at the receptions/department, greeting them and addressing their needs
• scheduling/rescheduling and confirming appointments of procedures for patients coming personally or calling over the telephone
• calculating and preparing reports of No-Show Appointments
• cash handling and receiving payments through credit/Debit cards/cheques from patients for procedures and maintaining accurate recording on computer via Radiology Information System/Integrated Laboratory Management System (ILMS)
• where applicable, print online radiology requests and call patients from inpatients areas & Emergency Department for procedures and sent them back after completion of procedures
• receiving telephone calls and providing necessary information and/or transferring to concern person
• balance cash with receipts at the end of the day to be sent to finance
• performing duties in shifts and provide coverage for colleagues in times of need
• responsible for all cash received during his/her duty hours
• training and developing junior Receptionists during their orientation and early period
• abiding by the reception policy of the department as well as institutional policy for handling cash, shortages and access 
• maintaining all necessary records related to reception operation
• ready to stay back after normal working hours or overnight in the department in case of need
• any other task assigned by the supervisor

• 3-5 years of related work experience preferred.
• ability to handle cash and maintain account 
• good verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu
• good at working with numbers 
• good interpersonal skills
• good telephonic manners and ability to transfer phone calls to appropriate areas
• good understanding of medical terminology preferred
• ability to deliver excellent service to the customers
