Key Responsibilities
  • Manage initial credentialing for healthcare providers
  • Prepare and submit applications to commercial and federal payers
  • Maintain and update CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and other payer portals
  • Track application statuses, expirations, and re-credentialing timelines
  • Communicate with insurance companies and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records and protect sensitive provider information
Requirements
  • 1–2 years of experience in credentialing
  • Familiarity with credentialing platforms (CAQH, PECOS, Availity)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
