Research Opportunity in Environmental Sciences

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for a Research Associate position in the Department of Environmental Sciences. The successful candidate will be involved in a research project focused on the simultaneous alleviation of chromium accumulation in wheat grown in Cr-contaminated soils using zero-valent iron and biochar.
The researcher will work under the supervision of Dr Muhammad Adrees, Associate Professor and Principal Investigator, to contribute to the project's objectives and outcomes.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Enrolled in PhD Environmental Sciences
- Strong academic background in environmental sciences or related field
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The successful candidate will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 50,000 per month and will have the opportunity to gain valuable research experience in a reputable institution.
OthersThis is a one-year contract, extendable up to two more years based on performance and availability of funds. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed for the interview, and no travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for this purpose.
