Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  1. Commission Systems: Commission automation systems to ensure they are functioning as expected.

  3. Troubleshoot Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues, optimize system performance, and minimize downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.
  4. Provide Training: Provide training support to operations teams on proper use and maintenance of automation systems.
  5. Document Processes: Diligently document all processes, configurations, and changes related to automation systems to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  1. A diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, Automation, or a relevant field is mandatory.
  2. A minimum of 3-5 years' work experience in automation as a PLC/RTU Programmer and commissioning specialist preferably in Water and Wastewater projects, Oil & Gas, and Infrastructure.
  3. Hands-on experience working with various PLC platforms (Schneider M580, Rockwell Control & Compact Logix) and RTUs (Siemens S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500, PCS-7, WinCC SCADA, WinCC OA SCADA, TBOX RTU) along with open communication protocols like Modbus Serial, Modbus RTU, BACnet MSTP, OPC, MQTT, DNP3 etc.
  4. Familiarity with control panel wiring and instrumentation is necessary.
  5. Ability to read documents and drawings related to control systems i.e., P&IDs, layouts, Control Panel Drawings and troubleshoot wiring issues.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required.
  8. The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously is crucial.
  9. A valid UPDA holder is necessary.
  10. Proficiency in MS Office is mandatory.
  11. An international driving license is preferred.
