This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The selected candidate will be responsible for governance, risk management, and compliance related tasks, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to information security, developing and implementing effective risk management strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management:
    • IDentify, assess, and mitigate risks to information security.
    • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Governance:
    • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards related to information security.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Compliance:
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and other relevant standards.
    • Identify areas of non-compliance and develop remediation plans.
  • Security Frameworks:
    • Implement and maintain security frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, and CIS Controls.
  • Communication:
    • Provide timely and effective communication to stakeholders regarding security and compliance matters.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and industry best practices.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve information security controls and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cyber Security from a recognized university.
  • Masters degree in Cyber Security will be preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in governance, risk management, and compliance roles.
  • Certification in ISO-27001, CISA, and CGEIT will be preferred.
