Mobile App Designer

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join our team at Swipbox. The successful candidate will design and build high-quality applications for the iOS platform, working with Swift and Objective-C, and applying SwiftUI where applicable.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, Cocoa APIs on macOS/iOS, and performance limits, characteristics, and optimization techniques. Experience with embedded databases, data persistence, and system data stores, as well as proficiency in RESTful API integration and backend communication, is also required.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, applying latest coding practices, clean architecture principles, and design patterns to solve complex problems efficiently. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, debugging issues, and ensuring timely fixes for critical bugs, as well as contributing to ISO standards compliance, including secure coding, vulnerability assessments, and audit readiness.

Preferred skills include strong proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and working knowledge of SwiftUI, solid understanding of object-oriented programming and Cocoa APIs on macOS/iOS, good knowledge of performance limits, characteristics, and optimization techniques, in-depth knowledge of memory management, multi-threading, and concurrency, experience with embedded databases, data persistence, and system data stores, proficient in RESTful API integration and backend communication, strong sense of UI/UX design with user-centric focus, familiarity with low-level C-based libraries, implementation of unit testing, automated testing platforms, and CI/CD pipelines, strong knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and design principles, proficient understanding of Git or similar version control tools, experience with continuous integration pipelines, awareness of ISO security standards, secure coding practices, and handling vulnerability audits, and bonus prior experience with BLE protocols, SDK development, and device connectivity.

• Design and implement architecture patterns suitable for large-scale and complex problem-solving.
• Identify bottlenecks, debug issues, and ensure timely fixes for critical bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, automation, and compliance with industry standards.
• Contribute to ISO standards compliance, including secure coding, vulnerability assessments, and audit readiness.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field, and 4+ years of hands-on iOS development experience are required for this role.
