Perfumer Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Perfumer Assistant to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our chemists and perfumers in creating high-quality products that meet client needs and market trends.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of fragrances, assisting in the creation and refinement of formulations, and ensuring they align with client briefs and market demands.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist lead perfumer in developing fragrance formulations, taking into account client requirements and market trends.
• Measure, mix, and prepare raw materials for fragrance compositions, adhering to precise formulations and quality standards.
• Prepare samples for testing, including measuring and mixing raw materials, diluting fragrances, and creating different product formulations.
• Support fragrance chemists and perfumers in their research and development activities, helping with experiments and formulations.
• Record and organize data from experiments, ensuring all results are accurately documented for further analysis.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring all tools and instruments are in good working order.
• Participate in sensory testing or quality control processes, helping to assess the fragrance's characteristics and performance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry is preferred.
• Fresh or 1 year experience in a related field is required.
• High precision weighing experience is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
