Corporate Lawyer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel to join our team, providing expert guidance on corporate governance, contract review and negotiation, regulatory compliance, M&A and investments, risk management, litigation support, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage corporate governance matters including board meetings, shareholder resolutions, and corporate filings.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, partnership agreements, licensing agreements, and NDAs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial services regulations, data protection laws, and industry-specific rules.
• Support due diligence and legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and investment transactions.
• Identify and advise on potential legal risks, liabilities, and exposures associated with operations, products, and services.
• Provide dispute resolution support, managing external counsel and developing strategies to address legal challenges.

Requirements

• LLB/LLM or relevant degree.
• 2-4 years of experience in the banking industry.
• Prior banking experience is mandatory.
