Manual API and Database Tester

The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing, focusing on ensuring the functionality, performance, and security of APIs and database systems.

  • Develop and execute manual test cases for API and Database systems.
  • Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI. Perform Database testing to verify data integrity, database queries, and stored procedures.
  • Validate API responses, ensure error handling is proper, and perform load testing for APIs.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Manual QA Engineer with a focus on API and Database Testing.
  • Strong knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
  • Experience with Database testing (e.g., validating data, testing SQL queries, stored procedures).
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for database validation.
