Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications.

Your key responsibilities will include designing and executing detailed test cases for web and mobile applications, conducting functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and smoke testing across multiple platforms, and maintaining bug tracking and test case management tools.

You will also perform API testing using Postman, validating endpoints, payloads, status codes, and authentication workflows, and ensure complete test coverage of features in sprint cycles using Agile methodologies.

In addition, you will log detailed and reproducible bug reports, track defect resolution through the lifecycle, participate in requirements analysis and design reviews to provide QA perspective, and support lightweight automation scripts or test suites.

You will collaborate with developers and DevOps to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and quality releases, take ownership of assigned projects, and actively contribute to improving quality processes.

  • Design and execute detailed test cases

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
  • Proficient in creating and executing complex test cases for web and mobile platforms
  • Familiarity with RESTful API testing and Postman
  • Experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation
  • Ability to write and execute basic automation scripts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps
  • Basic scripting knowledge in Python or JavaScript
